Two days ago, I got my last batch o' cookies out of the oven, and I notice that the edges are hard because I left them a tad too long, so I yelled "OH NO!" and I hear my neighbor through my back door call "What happened, Lo?" Without thinking, I yell back "Crispy bottoms!!!" I heard him crack up and then ask "What???", so I took him and his daughter a good batch of cookies and embarrassingly explained myself. Good fun, but I still feel totally stupid. c:

I've had a few funny customers at work.

Saturday evening a lady called to order pizza for delivery about 10:40p or so. Company policy is that we stop taking delivery orders half an hour before we close, which happens to be 11p on Saturdays. So I answered "Thank you for calling Jet's Pizza. We're pick-up only now." (Or something along those lines). The lady was like "Really? That's the worst thing I've heard all day."


The other one happened last night. Dude calls up and says he wants one of the specials that was on a mail flyer thingie: a large one topping pizza and a small bread. I get most of the order down, cause it's easy enough other than asking what topping the customer wants on the pizza. So I'm like "What topping would you like on the pizza?" "How many you get?" "One." "I want these little red circle things in the picture? What are those called?" He then starts asking someone on his end about it before finally telling me he wants pepperoni on his pizza.


Yeah, we get a lot of characters at my work.

I was working at BestBuy, stop #1 for anything electronic. Middle of the day, some random lady walks up and asks me if we sell books. I'm thinking, No, this is BestBuy... are you retarded? But then she says, "Yeah you know, a book, it has a cover, uses a lot of paper, has words in it...". So for talking to me like I dont have a brain stem, i made her walk around Car Audio for an hour trying to find books. She even came back the next day to try looking again.

While walking past the thrift shop here in Midland, I was "attacked" by a Tiger Swallowtail. The large butterfly was attracted to a bright yellow shirt hung in the window, and this howler just happened to get in the way.

Driving through the walmart parking lot (the store that causes instant rage mode) i had dragula playing and the windows down when Angel and I look in the back and our daughter Is Air guitaring to the song and our son is playing the air drums, the looks on peoples faces as we drove the soccermom-mobile (aka the leper on 4 wheels) blasting Rob Zombie yea that was a riot.

My co-worker started me C-Beats because of the kind of music I listen to at work. I thought the C stood for my the initial of my first name, Chris, but according to him, it stands for CashMoney Beats, lol. Apparently that's my new nickname :p

The other night me and Amur were at work and we were working on dishes together, we were down to the last few when the other girl that was working with us brought back a couple more dishes. Amur hissed because more dishes were being brought back. The other girl became a bit scared because she thought Amur was hissing at her. Which technically she was but only because the other girl came bearing the dirty dishes. ^_^



Then today I was out doing my laundry at a laundromat, cause I'm not cool enough to have laundry facilities at my house. Just after I got there a mom showed up with her two kids, who were being typical kids, at least from what I observed while I was inside. Anyway when I was moving my stuff from the washers to dryers, the two kids happened to be horsing around a little near the washers. The boy had his sister in someting of a bear hug when she said "If you let me go I promise to stay right here." She was kinda trapped between her brother, a washer and a support beam, so as soon as her brother let her go she tries taking off. And almost runs into the door of the washer I was pulling clothes from.

Nice! I love the hissing part, lol. Sometimes I growl at myself when I get irritated at work. I don't think my co-workers really notice though. :p

Our coworkers don't usually notice the growling either. They usually just catch the death glares that accompany them.

Some days ago, I was gifted a stunt kite. I`m flying those things for some years now, I`m not a professional, I`m just doing the standart tricks. Usually I go to the beach to fly. Now in summer, there are a lot of tourists, and sometimes it`s too crowded, to fly safely.

Anyway, I went to the beach to fly my kite. It was in the morning, and when I entered the parking, I could see a family with a kite. They seemed to have some issues about that kite and their, maybe 10 year old, son.
I got my kite ready and started flying, and, by the way, I heared them arguing with the boy. He insisted, that flying kites is for babies only. The father then wanted to demonstrate that this is not true, so he managed to get the kite airborne. But then it crashed two times, the son just said:" I told you!", the father was upset.

Then the mother came over to me and said, that she wants me to take the kite, as it was a gift from the boy`s grandfather, and she thinks, I would want to have it. My chin nearly dropped to the floor, but then I thought, before they stuff it into the next bin, I will take it. It`s a good kite, by the way..

Back when the MLP grab bags were super popular, I went to the Meijer shopping center to look for them. And here I am standing, straining my eyes when this woman walks by and asks what I was doing. I told her, "I'm looking for the Pinkie Pie one." She smiles softly, "You're such a sweet boy looking for something specific for you daughter." So I told it to her straight, "Lady, I don't have a daughter. I'm looking for Pinkie Pie to complete my collection."

The look on her face was priceless.

An even better time was going into McDonald's when there were MLP toys for the kids and asking if that had a specific character in there. People don't except a man to ask for girl's toys.

I was wearing my suit randomly in the passenger seat of my mom's car riding somewhere and boy the stares!! Suddenly a clown dressed in clown gear pulls up, so I decide to wave. He double takes and kinda looks surprised and I point at him and do a laugh gesture and he was laughing hard. Oh man talk about a weird time for the girl on the other side, She is just in tears, smiling just watching this whole thing lol.

While fursuiting during a recent airshow, a couple of Air Force police  asked my handler and I if they could use me in a funny short video. One of them would walk up from behind and stick a note on the back of my jumpsuit. Later, it would be removed.
