Tiger from Germany

Hi!
My name is Gizmo, from Germany, I`m 37 and a tiger.
For a long time I thought, I must be nuts, but now I know better, and I`m happy that I found this website!
Well, I`ve known, that I`m a tiger, stuck in a human body, for all my life. There have been times, when I wanted to talk about it, so I told it to my family and close friends. The reaction usually was a slight grin and a sudden change of the subject, or the information, that the person has to go shopping immediately, even in the middle of the night. Others thought it was just a running gag. Normally, people say things like:" So, you believe you`re a tiger?"
No, I don`t believe I`m one, I know it, I feel it!
So after a while, I stopped talking about it, so the people went back to think, I`m just a guy, who loves cats, and tigers especially.
Most of the time, I can deal with having a human body. But then there are times, when the wish of having a matching body really overwhelms me.
I also think, that I have some features not normal to humans. Others said it is not unusual for humans to have them.
First of all I sometimes have an eruption of aggressions, so that it`s really hard to keep sane. This is, when I read or hear about people doing harm to cats, or kill them for no reason. Sure, animal abuse is always bad, but if it comes to cats (of all kinds), it nearly breaks my heart. Sure, many people get upset on this issue, but it really is like an explosion. I suddenly feel the deep desire to kill those persons, and I know, I could do it.
Then I sometimes have a very good sens of smelling and hearing, but not always.
Also I can sit or lay around for hours, doing nothing, but stare at no certain point, daydreaming. But I`m alert in a fraction of seconds.
I`m not a person who likes being around others, and I love to swim.
It was quite lonely for a long time, as I really thought, I`m the only one feeling this way. But then I got to know a guy, who is a wolf. And we started talking about it. It felt so good, to know I`m not alone. And then another guy came up and told us the name for that phenomenon, and I did ask uncle Google for more informations. That`s how I found this board. And now I`m here!
Oh, and yeah, if I had the choice to transition to a tiger`s body, I would do it immediately! I think, that my family and friends would feel that it`s me, and there would be a way of communicate with them without needing spoken words.

Hey there Gizmo, welcome to MIFurs. I highly doubt that you will find anyone else here that currently lives in Germany... I don't really tell people about it, yet I can say I kind of relate to what you're typing- Just a little. Have a good day//night.

Hey Gizmo, welcome to the site! Good to hear from somebody from Germany, it's been a while. I have a few anger issues being a Dragon... it can be rough sometimes. Good luck!

Hello!
I know how you feel, no matter who it is you tell about it, they will always look at you funny unless they themselves feel the same, at least in some aspect anyways.
So don't ask them about it... TELL them about it.
Everyone I meet knows I'm a Wolf. Because I want them to know that's what I am. A Wolf.
Sure people are kinda weirded out sometime... but, I never get messed with.
Because they KNOW what I am, and what Wolves do, and that I will react the same as they will lolz.
Just be you... who cares what anyone else says or thinks or does.
Besides, I'm sure you'll find plenty of Furs here that share your feelings.
Trust your feelings; your instincts.
Twill all make sense.

Welcome to the community friend. I am hoping that you will find your place and be gladly accepted here. Myself I have always felt a little...different. I definitely feel more than human the majority of my waking life. I don't know what it's like to be hyena, so I can't say that I am a hyena or any other animal in a human's body, but I can say that I feel like I can almost see my body separate from my consciousness in a third person sort of way. I've lived long enough and asked enough questions about this weird feeling to be knowledgeable to be content with it. Feel free to chat me up any time if you feel up to.
